It is not much

But is just so

The way she places placards out 

            “We’re open now”

There’s strategy in how they’re put

Not cluttering the pavement but

With their arty chalkboard fare

They capture the eye of the unaware

            The tempter’s snare

 How many look

How many see

Her thoughtful, angled artistry?
